Deepdale Terms and Conditions
- If you have supplied card details and the
requested dates are available we will process the booking. If you
haven't supplied card details we will be in contact to let you know
availability, but no booking will be created. Deepdale Leisure Ltd will not process any payment if
the requested dates are not available. Once payment is processed, an email booking
confirmation will be sent.
- Strictly no one under 21 without parental supervision. Anyone 14
or over is charged as an adult.
- Deepdale is a quiet relaxed place and
those making excessive noise after 10pm will be asked to leave without a
refund.
- No Stag or Hen parties (We reserve the
right to cancel bookings without a refund if we find they are hen or stag
parties)
- No
Deepdale Backpackers Hostel,
Deepdale Camping
or Deepdale
Tipis booking is confirmed until full payment has been received.
- For any cancellations more than 28 days prior to the arrival date,
80% of the amount paid will be refunded.
- For any cancellations less than 28 days or more than 14
days prior to the arrival date, 50% of the amount paid will be refunded.
- For any cancellations less than 14 days prior to the arrival date,
none of the full amount will be refunded.
- There is an option to pay a 20% deposit
for
Deepdale Granary
Group Hostel bookings, however the balance is due at least 1 month
before arrival. If customers choose to pay a deposit it is their
responsibility to pay the balance, we may not send a reminder. If the balance is not paid more than one month in advance we
reserve the right to cancel the booking and keep the deposit. Deposits are
not refundable. If full payment has been made for a Granary booking,
then the above terms and conditions (6 to 8) apply.
- Bookings may not be for more than 14 consecutive nights.
- On the
campsite please note that if you reduce the number of
people, but not pitches, then we are unable to give you a refund.
- We allow a maximum group size of 8 in
Deepdale Stables. This is because the hostel is only suited for
individuals and small groups. There are other people sharing the facilities
(kitchen, living area and courtyard/BBQ) in this hostel unlike our group
hostel where you get exclusive use. We now make clear to all groups staying
that there is a no noise policy after 10pm. If you are found to be noisy or
rowdy you would be asked to leave without a refund. Groups booking rooms
under different names to make a booking of more than 12 beds may be asked to
leave without a refund.
- Customers wishing to take advantage of a discount or voucher may only
redeem one discount or voucher per booking.
- We do not accept group bookings on the
campsite,
due to our noise policy and the proximity to local houses. Therefore no
more than 2 pitches can be booked together.
- Only one
Tipi
or Yurt can be booked by a group, with a maximum of six people sleeping
in the Tipi
or Yurt. The main reason is the proximity of the Tipis
and Yurts to local houses
and our noise policy. Groups booking the two tipis or yurts under two
separate
names may be asked to leave with no refund.
Customer Contact Information
Deepdale Leisure Ltd will not knowingly pass on your contact information to 3rd
parties. The information is used to communicate with customers about their
bookings, which we usually do by email, and to send out occasional Deepdale
Newsletters (no more than 4 a year).
Key Deposits
If you are staying in either hostel, a key deposit of £10 per key is taken at
the time of your arrival. This must be paid in cash. The key deposit is
returned at the time of your departure, if you return your key. Customers who
fail to return their key will not receive any refund on their £10 key deposit.
Children in Deepdale
Stables Backpackers Hostel
Due to problems with children in
Deepdale
Stables Backpackers Hostel in the past we are now making
clear to parents that the hostel is not a family hotel, nor do we supply
children's play areas or other children's facilities. If your children know how
to behave in a hostel and are happy in an adult environment then they are
welcome. However children are not welcome unless you agree to the following
rules:
- Children must be minded at all times.
- Children must share a room with their supervising adult, and may not share
a room with other adults unconnected with your booking.
- Children must respect the public spaces in the hostel - Places like the
courtyard, kitchen and living room are for use by everyone in the hostel
and to be both treated with respect and kept tidy.
If we feel that your children are not respecting the other customers or the
building you will be asked to leave with no refund.
