We have a number of photographs, prints and sculptures on display in both Deepdale Information and around the backpackers hostel.  Feel free to visit Deepdale Information to have a look around and one of our staff will show you around.

Some of the photographers and artists are listed below with some information on their work:

  Solange Cross

Born in Brazil, Solange lived in London for five years, before moving to Norfolk in the summer of 1994. She has been exhibiting her work locally since 1999 and considers herself more of an image-maker than a photographer, as she tends to get more enjoyment from the work in the darkroom than from taking pictures. Capturing the image on film is only the beginning of a very rewarding creative process that will eventually lead her to convey her unique interpretation of the original.

Jo Andreae

In Jo's fresh and innovative approach to photography she sees the world as patterns, lines and shapes.  She enjoys capturing man-made and natural structures in such a way as to accentuate their beauty and power.  Angle and light are used as the key to achieving impact.  Jo has been coming to the north Norfolk coast since she was three weeks old and feels it is like home.  She loves its expance and openness, the patterns of the sea in the sand and with the light being so pure, she has captured its beauty with her camera.  She produces quality handmade greeting cards and photographic prints of her images which are for sale in the Deepdale Information Centre.
