Deepdale Granary Group Hostel offers self catering group
accommodation sleeping
18 people in four bedrooms. The perfect self catering group accommodation for a group visit to Norfolk, whatever
your interest in this ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’*. The area is famous for it’s nature and bird reserves,
especially Titchwell and Holkham. The village church, with it’s Norman Font and
Saxon Roundtower, is part of a chain of ancient churches along the coastline,
with many other fascinating stately homes and historical buildings close by.
Admiral Lord Nelson was born and learnt to sail in the area.

The
hostel offers group accommodation in two dorms of 6, a dorm of 4 and a twin room, giving you
sleeping room flexibility. Those staying need to bring sleeping bags
or duvets and their towels, all other bedding is supplied. (Duvets can
be hired) |

Downstairs in the group hostel, there is a fully equipped kitchen for self
catering and a large common room, perfect for socialising, relaxing or
working. There are two showers, two toilets and two wash areas,
plus a drying cupboard which is always warm. Deepdale Granary Group Hostel was built in the 17th Century, and
converted 15 years ago into a group hostel. Two years ago the
hostel was refitted. Groups that have used Deepdale Granary Group
Hostel for accommodation
in the past include school groups, family parties, bird watching clubs, historical
interest, scout and art groups. Because the hostel accommodates 18 people, groups larger than 18 may overflow into both
Deepdale Backpackers Hostel
and Deepdale Camping, however they will not be able to take more than
8 of the
beds in Deepdale Backpackers Hostel. |

Due to the age and style of Deepdale Granary it has
been impossible to adapt it for wheel chair access. We are improving many of the
other disabled facilities and two of the dorms in
Deepdale Backpackers Hostel
are wheel chair friendly.
